HR Planning

Let's we see about HR planning, planning means first step to the success. If the organisation is reached to the success means there must be want planned every thing. Without planning in the organisation we can't able to do any thing or move any where. In that way HRP is planned the right number and the right people at the right place in right time. In other words we called manpower planning.

Needs of HRP


  • Unemployment situation
In now-a-days number of educated will be increase. so there is no shortage of any roles of job, so the management must planned how to recruit the right people in right place.

  • Demographic change
In day-to-day life the population will be increased so the problem is the old employees don't know about the new trends.

  • Skill Shortage
The old employees can don't know about the latest trends, so the organisation will provide some development programmes

In this HRP factors is divided in some types that is
Internal Factors
In this factor what are the planning processes are affected within the organisation, that means

  • Recruitment policy
 In this policy will affect the recruitment process, it means how to recruit the correct person in right place so for that purpose we create some recruitment polices and follow it.

  •  Size of the firm
            In this recruitment process the size of the firm is mostly affect the recruitment, that is the employees are imagine some big infrastructure in there mind, in that time candidates where see this small size of firm means they not to willing to do any job in our organisation

  • Growth and Expansion
            It play and important role in affecting factors of HRP, that means if the organisation is without growth and expansion means automatically that company will flop. So we give some growth and increasing there business.

Recruitment

           Recruitment is the process of selecting,  it plays an important role in human resource management. It is one of the most critical  process for build successful organisation or business, because the employment rate is greater than the educated level.

Process of Recruitment

  • Recruitment planning
In this recruitment process planning is very important , this is divided into two categories that is
           1. Number of contacts:
          If one organisation has some vacancy is there means so many candidates are apply that vacancy. In this time the organisation plan to attract more applications to select the right candidates in right place. The organisation to planed number of applications is received in this manner to select right personnel.

           2.  Type of  Contacts
            In this types of personnel to informed about the job, based on job description and job satisfaction.        

  • Identifying Recruitment Sources
                In this process, first we check our financial level in the organisation, then we start the recruitment process because if we provide some new candidates means , in these candidates we provide salary that time human resources managers must noted the organisation financial level. Then only we manage it.             

  •  Contacting sources
In this process it based  the managers will select number of candidates in process of contacting. In any where the recruitment it based on two ways, that is it involves the recruiter and the recruitee. The recruiter select the candidate in based on the collecting the information about the candidates, in this same way recruite must gather information about the organisation to take decision whether we join or not. so the organisation must want to share the information among the candidates.

  •  Application pool
In this process id conducting through in bases of application pool. The organisation will conducted one interview means they informed the candidates in the basis of the application pool. Number of application depends upon type of organisation or type of job.

  •  Selection process
It is an main important process of recruitment, in this process the candidates will completely checked by their technique skills, way of presentation, conducting some exams, and conducting some interviews. It is the challenging one of all the organisation.

Recruitment Sources

             In this recruitment sources there are divided into two sources, that is given below Internal sources and External sources

Internal Sources

             In this internal source, they follow some methods that is

  • Transfer and promotion
In this method, the organisation will satisfied the employees with there needs and wants. The word transfer means some internal movement in the organisation with the same grade or position. And another one is Promotion  it means, there is some changes are there form lower position to the higher position. changes in responsibilities, Status, working time etc....

  • Job Posting
Job posting is one of the internal method of recruitment process, in available jobs are posted in locations throughout the organisation.

  • Employee Referrals
Employee referrals means recommendation for such job. The applicant who can be a friend or a family members. By this method the organisation must be destroyed. that is, persons of one community or caste who may or may not to fit for the job.

  • Former Employee
The word former means old employees . However the person will discontinued by some particular reasons, in sometime some people has left the company to be our family situations, educations or to reach some personal goals etc....

External Sources

External sources means some sources come from outside of the organisation. that is

  • Direct method
It means campus interviews, preliminary screening method , interviews and attending seminars  these are called direct method.

  • Indirect method
In this method the candidate attending interviews to seeing some advertisements, word of mouth, and other firms  these are known as indirect method.

  • Third Party method
The most third party method includes through agencies, schools and colleges, trade unions, voluntary method  these are called third party method.

Selection

Picking some individuals into the pool of candidates to fill the job vacancies in the organisation. It is an hiring process for new employment. In this selection purpose is to select the correct candidates in right place, and know about the comparison of candidates to know about the way of thing, and decision making.
